With the aim of helping young artists, our foundry offers to sculptors aged under 35 to enter into the annual sculpture prize event for the first Bronzes ''ROMAIN ET FILS''.

Participants should send us photos of four of their sculptures, not exceeding 80 cm, along with a few words explaining how they go about their work and their itinerary, and also the dimensions and the materials used for each piece of work.

The documents should be sent between the 1st of March and the 15 th of April 2004 and they will be submitted to a jury made of professionnals from the artistic field (galleries, collectors, reknowed artists).The result of their decision will be given by the end of April .

The prize-winner will be offered by the foundry Bronzes ''ROMAIN ET FILS'' a cast in bronze of the selected work, and subsequently the work will be shown along with two other original works during an important sculpture exhibition including the 2nd and 3rd winners. There will also be the works of artists who cast their sculptures in our foundry, and other well- known artists whose works will be lent for the event by the Jean Hamon Foundation for contemporary Art and by the gallery P. Vallois in Paris.
